Fortnum and Mason Scotchlate egg packaging
Brief: design the packaging for a potential new product for Fortnum and Mason; the ‘scotchlate’ egg (a chocolate scotch egg). They will come in packs of two.
Response: The scotch egg was invented by Fortnum and Mason in 1738 as a savoury snack to be enjoyed on long journeys. It is now a popular British picnic food. I wanted to reflect this in the packaging so I decided to use the classic Fortnum and Mason hamper basket in a small size, with a vintage style luggage tag attached as the product description.
